i feel like talking to somebody
my brother's birthday yesterday
he would've been sixty
i can't remember the day he died
or the year for that matter
i don't have to remember
he's in my head you know
he's in my head
when i wear my black sweatshirt
when i drink sumatran coffee
i know when i am him
goldenberg's is across the street
white coffee pot on the corner
there's a soda machine at the texaco
i've seen that soda machine in my dreams
and i don't know why, but i'm sure
it means something, everything
means something sometime
like the old dean martin song
i can't understand it
i feel like talking to somebody
