the haggis of methuselah

This is Constantine's artlog. He posted his poems in his own artlog forum for several years. He named the forum "Constantinople" and described it as "A byzantine journey through life's labyrinth."

the haggis of methuselah

Post by constantine » June 5th, 2009, 12:46 pm

o haggis of methuselah
haggis of swift retribution
heinous i say! heinous!!
am i not my brother's haggis?
he ain't heavy - he's my haggis
it's a haggis of biblical proportion
real old testament stuff
haggis and scrapple in the frying pan of sinai
nothing good can come of this
as i'm sure you have already noticed
but yet, the power of haggis compels me

Compels ! Now there's a word you can get a fork into. I was just passing through but I was compelled to stop & compelled to write this.
It's funny what traveling will do to a soul. Be nice to get paid for it. But that might make of it just another job, is that what I want ?*

* Don't even go there !

Hey Dino! Sorry i got carried away but it's one of those days.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
