This is Constantine's artlog. He posted his poems in his own artlog forum for several years. He named the forum "Constantinople" and described it as "A byzantine journey through life's labyrinth."

moon

but he's got nothing to say
he is consumed by gnats and mosquitos
they pick at his sores
they whittle him down
and bitch about his sour blood
what do they expect of him
tell me, exactly
what do you expect
genius? a purity of expression
that no one can deny
the virgin stone begs for inscription
it howls and screams
it whispers invective, innuendo
faker! dilettante!!
go back to your scribblings
switch from pen to pencil
your fingers are weak
nails haggard, torn
you are a victim of those who love you
their visions and expectations
in silent measure, keeping the beat
like a stuttering metronome
allegro - adagio
and back again,
a rogue moon in search of a planet
pocked and cratered
waiting for the eclipse

I'll tell you what I expect
Satisfaction

A satisfying poetry experience

Thank you dino
Definitions of satisfaction on the Web:

the contentment one feels when one has fulfilled a desire, need, or expectation; "the chef tasted the sauce with great satisfaction"
