don't play the heavy with me

don't play the heavy with me
be kind, have a heart
how easily you shut the door
you light a cigarette
and puff out smoke
like ribbons in the air
that tease in intricate spirals
and dissipate like a dream
what do you see
in that cup of coffee
what plots do you stir with the spoon
how much sugar and cream
to sweeten the bitterness
to lighten the darkness
remember, you used to love me
things change - i know that now
but don't play the heavy with me

Nothing freaked me out as much as being in Greek Town, speaking of the old town which we were not.
What kills me is the bit about loving your enemies.
That is what is so cruel about Christianity.
I know she loves me till this day if she is still alive.
Sorry about the ramble dino
I am on a strange diet here
it seems to be working
I have lost 12 pounds in a couple weeks
not trying very hard
I discovered a miracle diet aid
100 percent natural drug
only know side effect is compulsive typing
really nice work dino
the attention to details of mundane life is like Salinger to me.
keep on writing
as if we have a choice.
sincerely

I'm drinking the first cup of coffee from my new coffeemaker. As I told the Dame it looks Egyptian the coffeemaker I mean. Drinking coffee and reading your piece. Which is not definitely Egyptian. Maybe we can get Cleopatra to deliver herself to us in a rug. We could go riding down the Nile on her barge. Twirling on the backs of crocodiles. That would be heavy. Enjoyed the read Dino. Don't know where Greek Town is.

Would you not like asking me or how should I take it?
Honestly, it'd be too difficult a persona for a man to portray, (at least for very long) How could he manage such tempers and mood swings and gentleness, especially that...a man with such the tender heart? A dame and a trying one at that. I'm not Jack, nor his guises, nor anyone here except Dame. But, I'm glad you were asking, it did manage a smile from me and I'm difficult to get that reaction.

What would I do without them.
A pleasure to meet you too. I must admit I've entertained quite a few times that you might be Jack, and that mingo could be Jack and then I go, "The house that Jack built." I look forward to the exchange.
