the caves of marabar

rhythm in the backwash
black hole pulsing, null - mute
ancient muddles,
like the caves of marabar
easier to get in than out

ionic bonds dissolve
random particles, crumbs
snake skin and nail clippings
this is the natural order
this too is rome

there are insects who live a lifetime in a day
they twiddle their thumbs and call it free will
cheap knock-offs of a second edition
incestuous, with every woman they know
my head is a fossil whose time has come
