This is Constantine's artlog. He posted his poems in his own artlog forum for several years. He named the forum "Constantinople" and described it as "A byzantine journey through life's labyrinth."

i've waited a lifetime
for things i will never see
even the egyptian
pushing blocks of stone
under the burning light
of the desert sun
realized, at some point in time
that he wasn't the pharaoh
