creepy corner

This is Constantine's artlog. He posted his poems in his own artlog forum for several years. He named the forum "Constantinople" and described it as "A byzantine journey through life's labyrinth."

creepy corner

Post by constantine » August 29th, 2011, 8:26 pm

i live on a creepy corner
blacks across the street
blaring soul music
irish pub downstairs
blaring rock
i get it coming and going
barry white and lynyrd skynyrd
a civil war of sorts
barry's got a hard on just for you
lenny's got a saturday night special
(i think it's blue and gold)
good old punch you in the eye music
that mama used to drink to
when papa was a rolling stone on heroin
kentucky is just across the river
you can see it if you have to
and the blacks hate you anyway
even if you're not from kentucky
this is the town i live in

Your poetry and this piece always makes me happy.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!
