University
I guess I should have mentioned I graduated at the age of 57 (summa cum laude, by God) and it took me four years to get through three years of college -- I was working full time as a legal secretary, about 50 hours a week. The older you are, the better it is. Overachievers all us old folks with hunger for knowledge.

I toddled out of Abilene at a VERY early age, but I know where you are coming from. Remember "Lubbock Texas in the Rear View Mirror"? Love that Country Western music!

Re: INTRODUCTION
Hi Sue
you been killing me with your poetry I thought I would say howdy and thanks
I am working on a new sock puppet, thinking about calling her 'Diamond Lil' or Big Sister after my sis in law. I would walk through hell on Sunday for that 'shiksa'
Women of your generation, I was twelve years old the summer they executed the Rosenbergs. Hell of a feeling to be a Jew boy in the promised land that summer.
I used to suffer from the Faust syndrome. Twelve years of college never graduated, finally decided on a major after twelve years, but my credits all scattered. Two years of college English which I hated. I wanted just the facts jack, science was all I cared about.
Well enough about me
I hope you have a good time on studio eight.
I appreciate your work
sincerely
jack tilles
still trucking
et alii'
I got two feminine sock puppets so far
Diana Moon Glampers (short story and novel by Vonnegut)
Diesel Dyke after a sister teamster I used to know I meant it as a homage to someone I admired as a truck driver.
that user name almost cost me a dear friend on studio eight
she could not believe I could be that stupid about the stereotype
Well I guess i showed her
I hope we are still friends
her friendship so dear to me
at time when I was being flamed by almost every woman on litkicks she found some compassion in her heart for me.
please pardon the digression on user names. Probably a dumb idea as I try to figure out whatever it is that I am doing with these seeming random text boxes.
If St. Jack (blessed be his memory) was alive he would probably be writing spontaneous hypertextmarkuplanguage by now.
Sometimes I think about his daughter blessed be her memory
And I think her name was Iphigenia not Jan.
