Good morning, all, and especially to my friends and fellow survivors from Arcanum Café: judih, sasha, doreen, mnaz. (Did I see winddance in here? Hope so!) It's been a few days since the curtain came down on AC, but it seems like forever. Thanks, judih, for pulling me out of the quicksand.
OK, a little bio stuff: I won't admit to being old, but I was a Pearl Harbor survivor at age two, my entire family being there. I grew up in an Army environment. After graduating from University of Colorado (Boulder), I served nine years in the Navy, one of those in Vietnam. After that, 20 years with the San Diego Sheriff's Department, then four years with the U.S. Forest Service as a wilderness ranger. Now, I'm doing outdoor photography and writing poetry (call it poetography), and waiting to find out what I want to be when I grow up.
If you want a peek at what I'm doing, you can find a lot of my photo work at:

And, I have a book of poetry here:

Last but not least, I'm really glad to be here.

Welcome. Good place to land, as we all did.

Welcome aboard, beekay. We do seem to migrate from one site to the next, eh? (IPP to AC to S8...) Haven't seen winddance, but mtmynd is here and at least one other ACer under a different pseudonym. Write on!
