Studio8 - Uniting the Arts

Hi... I'm Doreen Peri and I created this site by pushing "install" for the phpBB software on my website host's control panel on July 10, 2004.

The tagline for Studio Eight is "Uniting the Arts." Studio Eight supports artists who delve in all genres of art. If you are a poet, a writer, a musician, a visual artist or a performance artist, you might enjoy this website. Feel free to announce your news and events, your books, cds, performances, web site updates, etc., and have fun posting your writings and artwork and interacting with other community members.

Personally, I'm old enough to know better but young enough to keep having fun. I enjoy writing poetry, painting, playing the piano, singing, performing my poetry, dance, live theater, films, swimming, playing scrabble, and gardening. I'm in the middle of figuring out how to make some major changes in my life and I'm getting very excited about it!

I live in Virginia about 20 miles west of DC.
