greetings from judih

Post by judih » June 19th, 2008, 12:02 am

my name's judi with an exhale 'h'. i added the exhale because it often is my middle name and i usually don't have time to pause.

i write and have been writing for a good long time. i sometimes post what i write here at the studio, but i always read the studio and love this studio.
i love its nuts, bolts and beauty.

i am an american/canadian/israeli living on a kibbutz. i admit that i'm a cynical idealist with hopes for a nirvana tomorrow, with hints of bliss waiting to show themselves.

i am happy to say that i met most of you at Litkicks - the haven of action poetry for so many years. From there we've kept going and exploring. Years pass by and most of us are still kicking lit.

oh, i have a blog about where i live and i sometimes plug it here at Studio 8. (http://talkingnow.wordpress.com)

Here's an added smile for your imaginative enjoyment - apply as necessary.

I know this lady JUDIH
I have touched her soft hand
and felt her arm strong around my waist.
I have looked deep into her loving eyes
and felt her passion for life as she looked back into mine.
I have felt her power
when it jolted my heart.

She is a Lady of the Light.

It is written that thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle.
The light from these thousands pales in comparison to the light
that glows and shines forward from my sister JUDIH's heart.
And she shares her flame -- and this world is made warmer and brighter and lighter because of her.

Namaste
Dohiya,
wb sings.
