Hi Lao! Welcome to the Studio! Looking forward to reading some of your writings! Post some, OK?
(I love your screen name... it made me laugh. I'm a sucker for puns.)

Being an aspiring writer is a wonderful way to introduce yourself, Lao.
Word play here is the way. Not thinking is a way to not get blocked
and there are folks here, like yourself who take creative writing seriously
and they are crafting style as well as ability to be expressive.
I am an aspiring man, recovering my sanity always. Find what gives you passion, or what blocks you and impedes you. Search into both directions. Mostly, enjoy
a community pf writers, communicators, poets and yes visual and performance artists in a safe and uplifting environment. Hope this works for you!

I saw Laos from the air at the Mekong, beautifully forested across the river from heavily cultivated land, sculpted into geometric Thai phrases. A few miles south,
I saw a sea of carpet bombing, then eastward into the defoliated high savannah
where the mountains retreat to the coast.
I met a gay fellow, who told me he did alternative service during the war as a teacher in Laos. He wrode a bicycle, unarmed. Later, he met his Vietnamese lover in Washington DC. The other man came from a little fishing village, Rach Gia, built up on stilts at the far end of southern Vietnam on the Gulf of thailand. I was amazed to meet such a literate man from that little place far away from the "world."
We go beyond war into peace. We contain multitudes, like Walt Whitman.
Itis this containing and embracing of heaven and hell together that makes a story touch you. Look for succinctness, and then the words play on themselves
phrase by phrase.
