NEW PROFILE FOR ZLATKO WATERMAN ( from my Flickr site)

Post by Zlatko Waterman » December 14th, 2010, 9:00 pm

First, thanks to the stalwart Doreen for hosting this shindig, symposium, exorcism- fest or whatever it is, called STUDIO EIGHT . . .

It's fun and I always learn something when I visit.

Six years ago ( approximately) I was a regular around these parts.

Here are excerpts from my Flickr site below-- the main outlet for my art and words for some time.

It's nice to be back.

Best Holiday wishes to all.

Even Julian Assange, who probably needs something about now . . .

( Flickr excerpts below)

An interview with me by Susan Henderson of LITERARY MARKETPLACE ( archived at LITPARK) is available here:

for anyone who might want to know more about my likes and dislikes.

Flickr comrade Dan Morelle of the UK has published a chat with me here:

ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY contains a notice written by Rama Hughes on my work:

POETS AND ARTISTS magazine will publish work of mine in their fall issue, 2009

My work is on the cover of, and enjoys a feature spread in DOWNTOWN L.A. MAGAZINE INTERNATIONAL, Sept. 2010 issue-- which is here:

My illustrations have been published in many national and international periodicals, including this recent illusatration of John Le Carre published on the front page of the German ( also international-- including arrangements for translated portions in the UK GUARDIAN AND UK INDEPENDENT) newspaper DER FREITAG:

The archived version doesn't show a facsimile front page, but scroll down here and you will see one--under Thorsten's comment . . .

Thanks to all for your warm greetings.

I haven't figured out how to use this board's controls yet, but when I do I'll write to all of you individually.

Thanks again-- I'm glad to be here,

Zlatko
