Lonesome summer.
Just me and my music.
I serenade myself.

beer, guitar and sunshine dying red sky dusk
that new riff I picked up: ratm's bombtrack
fluffy clouds and a nice european beer
now pj harvey plays on the looping random track selection
thom yorke - "the mess we're in"
the sun dies
a helicopter
"no need for words now...
i think it's wednesday"
there are children down there laughing
i spilt some beer on my cowboy shirt
that's poetry.
bees have made a home underneath the back door steps
buzzing like an amp with a guitar too close
too loud
summer sun and music
this angel isn't for dying
not yet.

doreen, you have a beautiful, intense and beguiling smile.

the accompaniment of oneself
is necessary, that one
might get rapturously to the gist
enrapt in each morsel
of their own goodness

play me
strum, pluck, finger each chord
pricelessly

Expound in you.

Play on
for found in you
the one
the only one
who holds the key
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

That was a saying that supposedly Liberace would do.

It's take talent and grace
to be an accomplished accompaniment
to your own self ... and Doreen
a fine "thine own self" you have always been
and always will be.
(imo) It's your most beautiful quality.

I made this portrait of you, for you ...

I hope it makes you laugh
and smile.

I was going to comment on Terri's picture showing the softness and the woman of steel, but I figured wireman said it all for me. I post so much I was wondering if this was one too many for the day. I was also wondering if SmileGRL gave you an aguiline nose but I googled it and I don't think so. I liked her picture too. And I was wondering about those blue eyes in Deb's picture. I thought you had hazel eyes.

So there is is.
