across an angry, angry sky
Causing one to wonder why
the lightning strikes back
at the total lack
of compassion in flow
that comes ... then goes
leaving hearts-in-break
emotions-in-quake
God is talking

ah there is compassion
why lightening flashes in th distance
and we wait in awe
for th thunder

attitude of gratitude
releases my brakes
more lightning flashes in th distance
thunder giving hope
