dream me a sailboat
on a lazy day
add a gentle breeze
& i might just stay

to lift something up - that's the best way...the sailor sails and the fisherman gathers his catch & the sun at home in his sky...it would tempt anyone to linger & abide...to refuse the house of storm & all other inevitable departures, to lay the useless maps aside. To breathe in, to breathe out, to say thanks for the lift, how did you know I needed the ride?

ah, blue has never seemed so right
buoy's barely ringing
soft waves goodbye

dream me a sea
and i'll be a sailboat
blowing my own breeze
into my mind

sail me little smoke boat,
perfumed on the air,
to lands i cannot dream of
far beyond her hair
