Only one thing left to do, find out what your grandparents left behind.

let sand run through your fingers.

Just kiss it, Ronnie dear,
it's going this way.

Zuihitsu farts in the wind
these last days of mine I am obsessed with this typing
I hope I go before you
mine is going to be sudden
splendiferous day here
but I had to spend most of it indoors cleaning up mouse turds
I am addicted to film noir especially the black and white
I see a lot of TV ads all day. A lot of them for "final expenses" not to leave my family with the burden.
I do not want to leave my family with the burden of cleaning up the mouse turds in my house.
I have not lost any sleep over money in decades
I know death pays al debts. But I owe my soul to Jesus.
I am hoping you are well cared for and you have a good night

Thx, Jack. No mouse turds here - I have about 18 cats or so though the last couple of days I have not seen them all together at feeding times. I have one I worry about, she's smaller than the rest and timid to boot. She always waits until all the other cats are done feeding then she will go in for what's left - I look out for her, even named her - Ghost.

2:46 a.m. - *Tug Hill*

Killing is killing. Don't use the word "treatment". Hello, Spoon, dish it up.

Yesterday is a crow on a branch of a tree across the river. You look & he is there. You look down at the table, count the coins there.
You look back to the tree and the crow is gone. Poetry? yeah, me neither.

Winter weather alert - snow coming. The kitchen is a mess and the sink is too small. I want a bigger sink.

O yes I did and I thought I was crazy.
Call me Lazarus, I hear voices outside my tomb.
Is anyone making the coffee? ________________why italics? because I can.

Cancer country is where you give up body parts. Sacrifice is the game of the name. The tainted part is cut out with a view to save what remains.
I have learned many things about this. Cancer country is Fantasy Island - Hello TV. Cancer country is where the gunslingers play poker in the local saloon with chemicals, poisons, radiations.

And money. Lots & lots of money.

God is The Rifleman with a tricked-out carbine & a gay son. My father used to watch that show every week. Cancer didn't get him. Heart disease did. The exits are all covered.

The doctors are shown never to have blood on their hands. White coats only.

The soul is where the truth of anything is tested.
Poetry? yeah, me neither.

Pony up, motherfucker, free will was born a lie and a lie it shall always be. The dick is only for show now. My prostate is dead gone by-by and included on the list of "treatment aftermath."

Ghost of orgasm poetry? yeah, me neither ... and don't forget my pills.

That coffee ready yet? Here comes my Baby. Hang on, Sloopy.

Snow for the past two days, Jack, but not much accumulation, winter though, fire going - been difficult dealing with firewood this year - old back injury flares almost instantly with the bending over - so I go it slow.

Hell, Jack, you been writing zuihitsu for years, decades - probably the biggest zuihitsu on the fucking planet -

I was raised as a Roman Catholic, but now I'm 99% atheist. I hang onto that 1% for the same reason I still have a few investment holdings in the stock market.

I can roll my tongue and cross my eyes. I'm right-handed, but can only do the Vulcan salute with my left.

I've had appendicitis, pneumonia, a stroke, and a couple of broken bones. Both of my hips are made of titanium. I can remember when doctors made house calls.

I never served in the military or learned to play a musical instrument.

I've never been outside North America. I've never been shot or bitten by a venomous snake.

I found a dead body in the woods once.

I was a huge fan of the Sherlock Holmes stories, Monty Python, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra. I've been published, been on local radio and television, and I'm named as a co-inventor on US Patent #4,745,857.

Can't hit a baseball or dribble a basketball, and have no idea what a football "down" is. Never read "1984" or "Animal Farm" - but I've read "Kon-Tiki" and "The Compleat Practical Joker" multiple times.

I've never been arrested or seen a ghost. Never made love to a redhead, though I fell hard for one once.

Never tried cocaine, nor was ever tempted. Never did acid, but one time had a scare about it.

My favorite movies are "The Great Escape", "Apollo 13", and "Stand and Deliver". "Bullitt", "Hidden Figures", "The Babadook", "Arrival", & "The Martian" almost made the list, and might next time someone asks.

I cry at the drop of a hat - like when a woodland trail opens up before me into field on a glorious late-summer day - because I Can. Not because I Can weep unobserved - but, thanks to surgery, I Can walk again. Two miracles - arthritically crippled joints replaced with metal and polymer, allowing me to again experience the miracle of warm sun on my back to the sound of my own panting, and the restless breeze-driven whisper of meadow grass, the everywhere chorus of insects, the raucous call of distant jays - things I wasn't sure I'd ever experience again... Takes a sterner, harder, rock-jawed man than I not to be moved to tears by that. Also, some of my favorite flicks do it to me. Never mind which ones.
