it is gray out again- ask me if i am surprised-yesterday i heard my son was telling a friend that he was going to send my friend and i to peru- i am thinking that is a fabulous idea with ample spending money -i am not so sure that she is the ideal traveling companion= but she does not have a passport and well - she is pretty bi- polar and well- probably wont get one- she gets arrested sometimes because she is bi-polar=fighting with people and stuff like that- sometimes i think a good roll on the floor wrestling match would be better than going thru a court of law-more honest in some ways- still dreaming of cutting off that woman s braid and swinging it around and everyone trilling-if the woman i am dealing with - sets the stage for how native women handle money then= WHOA not good- preachers and white shaman women that marry natives and then stand in thier names- like an upside down umbrella- it is going to rain on the parade of non - profit co-mingling bullshit- ah yes - it is unpleasant- i have had to pull away from everyone it seems-from babies and all that....am in warrior mode- kind of over it with people using me for my 'pit bull medcine' hiding behind the amazon woman - get a life- lol--- consider this- i am done with bitches

gone grey here too but earlier the sky was blue and the sun was in it - don't know when they went grey & I'm sittin' right by a big window - sometimes the damage is too far gone & the help started too late - I made an installation piece once that had umbrellas open and hung upside down from a tree - it was amazing how quick they filled with things - seeds from the trees themselves & other plants - windblown trash - scraps of paper - bird droppings & the bodies of moths - mice too - pine needles -

I like installation pieces - skulls, driftwood, stones, plastic containers, the grill off an old jeep + bits of poetry & phone book pages -

knew a gal once that had pillars like at the white house - with a baby basinet filled with skulls made out of clay- fired and glazed- it was called 'blue collar crimes'
and the other one i really liked was 'party favors' it was a saw blade disguised as a fan- and it had a skull on it as well- looked more like a weapon really-sierra pechuer- that was the artist- she was such an interesting woman really-
i have this huge vacant of cow barn to work in- i want my $ so i can do the stuff i think about- that wouldnt even be scary-
once in italy we got drunk and went to where eugenio worked at night- we jumped from the top of towers into piles of foam- i guess they made 'foam ' for pillows and couches- wow- it was so fun to free fall- but now-i dunno if i would jump

wow plenty- i had a vision of rows of flowers- gladiolas and sunflowers and i could see it thru the trees like a painting-
that has happened- i keep seeing a stage out there and a little marshall amplifer- i suggested to the woman that owns the place- that we get out there and get rid of some cow shit- the people that lived here before were 'milk' people- some of the stalls are still icky- and well- although if i was doing a raku firing i could use that shit in a reduction fire to stain the pottery in ashes-
but i think i need to make an 'area' in there for starters- was thinking- there is electricity out there too-so maybe ill move out there--~!!! i have an idea for a muriel facing south- i tried to get this one artist dude in on it- but he does not have enough pazazzz for me- and he seems like he is 'working the room' if ya know what i mean-
but my friend that is like obsessive compulsive with any media she gets her hands on- is excited about it- and that energy makes creation blossom- i see clouds and the sky on the upper part of the barn and i see teepees and valleys of gardens and food painted on the side-
and i see lil potted plants right there- and well- it is a place to honor where they used to kill cows- bummers-

we are going to use the shit in the field for the food garden- shit is useful apparently and things do not happen as fast or as often as i would like-but they happen
when i first got back here from kauai-she was moving in- all her stuff had been in storage for four years- wow- i unpacked everything and organized it- and now - i have time to play in the garden and do stuff with my art- but this has been a year long project- some people like to collect stuff- pitchers and bowls with flowers on them- i try to keep thigs simple- two duffle bags and a moving company ha ha ha ha

anyways ... just one breath after another is my meditation plus some Scripture thrown in from time to time - and you're right - it is a play it by ear kind of thing - how could it not be? everything is always at stake even while wiping our asses after a shit or eating dinner - so can you make this barn of yours livable? I lived in a garage once myself for awhile - best thing I ever lived in above ground was an airstream camper trailer from the early 60's - second best was a cellar with no house on top of it - that was great - it was built into the side of a hill and faced away from the road - way out in the country - it was like living in this cave except it was rectangular & made of cement blocks - i got this bunker mentality thing going while living there - I've found the best thing you can do for those who are concerned with finding the "Way" is to confuse them even further -
