that kayak in the pic is called an SOT - short for sit-on-top. I've seen some of those around here. Saw one last year with two young boys - one was paddling and the other boy was in the water - the kid in the water popped up and got on the back of the kayak and it didn't seem to bother the kayak much ... you could do that with mine but it would be tricky...i wonder how useful that sail would be - i mean it's right there in your face...

it's a good day for bourbon. I ain't got any. had to take the dog out in the rain. I'm glad I'm not in Syria. Comes down to deciding things with guns means intelligence & compassion have fled the scene. Compassion being the more meaningful loss. Everybody somewhere between birth and death and the best we can do is fight over who's the good guys & who's the bad. with guns?

I'd be some disgusted with the human race but the rub is i'm a human being too.
Conundrum.

Thing that really pisses me off - the devil gets to set back with a grin collecting compound interest every moment on his original investment.

and all human beings get out of the deal is loss.

Biggest moo-moo-moo-vee in the land at the moment got a girl going 'round sticking arrows in everybody so she can go on living. Moo!

It would be a good day for a sip or two of bourbon. Ain't got any. So I'll just take the day head first on my rasty ol' chin.

You in Texas with tequila - me in Yew Nork wishing I had some bourbon - i don't know if i'm sorry for raving & ranting or not - still, i got to have some powerful things roaming around in me to actually sit down at a textbox and go to town with it...sometimes ya just got a piece to say...hound's bee pestering me ever since I got up - took him out even before I got my first coffee down this morning...so i get out there in the rain with and he decides to screw around instead of doing his business so we can get back inside where it's dry. Now it's late in the afternoon and he still ain't settled... 41 degrees outside & a hard rain...the kind oof day o man or beast should have to go through...and that's the way it is...
drink up compadre...nancy just called said she's bringing home BK fish & onion rings - and here's where my little sunglassed smiley face should be but i can't get it to post ....yep, just perfect

woke up this morning to snow. My brain turned into an exclamation point.
Took the dog out to find he loves to eat snow.

Run through the jumble.

I once loved tequila and lemon, but it usually lead me into troubles. What does a woman want, well I'd be happy with a glass of wine or some soothing southern comfort. What a woman wants,
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!

this poem has
an especially prehistoric origin
it's an early human
for kids
it's a deep and
almost inaccessible place
long before writing
but not that far away from
in fact right next door
to the sources
of imagination
and earth colored

It's in the cave
the dwelling of the Rhino
finger painted
fingerprinted
finger-tipped
right up to the wall
and it's whirly twirly
clays.

I got this man a-coming.
Start the fire,
light on the walls.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you

There exists evidence that the earliest known Paleolithic shaman (c. 30,000 BP) was female.

Oh yeah! Dance around in those animal skins wearing a bear mask with tusks and waving smoking smudge sticks in the air - invoking the spirits - oooooooBaby !

and then we go out and hunt us down some wooly mammoths !

O yes !
