Where the hell & gone did all these crocodiles come from?

God blessed dog drove me crazy tonight when i got home from work. First he had to go out which is routine when i come home. When that was done i fixed myself a bowl of Cherrios - he starts bugging me about them which he has never done before so I got up and cut him up a hotdog which only gave me a few moments peace. Remember that Doors song "Peace Frog" ? Anyways the hound finished the hot dog and came back around to bothering me about the damn Cherrios & I gave up and put them in his dish...first he lapped up all the milk then he ate every last soggy cherrio there. I didn't know he would do that.
Good God.

Read tonight that some guy somewhere asked help of the local police in locating his lizard - a six foot Nile Monitor lizard - the owner said no one had to worry, that the lizard would not go after anything bigger than a small dog.
Uh-huh. The lizard had torn a hole in the steel fencing around his enclosure to get free.

Think I'll take the monitor lizard's example as good advice & tear a hole in the steel fencing surrounding my brain and free my mind. Don't worry anyone - it won't go after anything bigger than a small dog.

Walking the dog,
you meet
lots of dogs.
—S¯ oshi

Thought about you when I read that one.
I don't remember Peace Frog going to try and find it.
First time I heard it
Wow, I am so glad you mentioned it.
Indians scattered on dawn's highway bleeding
Ghosts crowd the young child's fragile eggshell mind

I am going to take a can opener to my head sometime, crack open my skull and take a look under the hood see if I can find the crossed wires.

Thinking about Kerouac a lot, listening to his essay on the life of the Buddha, he has an adoration for both Jesus and the Buddha. I got to admire that, and he had the amygdala of a big cat, he was fearless about tearing holes in that steel fence around his brain.

Speaking of fear I liked this video a lot, it is by a bunch of scientists/musicians at MIT I think. There was a short lived TV serries about a future where the muscians were the physcians which makes a lot sense. but it is three AM and my thoughts are not arriving right side up to paraphrase Least Heat Moon so maybe it don't make sense.

the quote is
Beware thoughts that come in the night. They aren't turned properly; they come in askew, free of sense and restriction, deriving from the most remote of sources.

thx Jack, that was Great! ... never heard it before, had me going off in all directions ... made me fear my brain too...which ain't a big stretch for me some days ... i mean some days all i have to do is wake up & OMG ... you're welcome on "Peace Frog" - didn't take me long to expect certain things from Morrison when it came to words & phrasings & language structure & poetry ...and his band was kinda in the background because of it...but a piece like the one we're talking about showed that, musically, they were how we used to say, tight

there are times when i flower
& times when i turn brown in the sun
between not enough water
& too much water
there's that Goldilocks moment /

... sometimes i can't believe the lengths i will go for an excuse ... it's incredibly obscene is what it is ... just because i live with my brain doesn't mean i trust it for even the briefest of moments. About anything. The image I mean to bring up for the situation is being locked in a pitch black room with a pissed off rattlesnake.

why is the brain given to such children as ourselves?

and then the conundrum of everybody you know has a brain which means they are all, men, women, & children, in the same situation of the pitch black room with a pissed off rattlesnake...

it boggles the mind.
a mind boggled is a happy mind.

O Goldilocks, where are you, sweet girl? Just bring your yella hair on over here & your shiny silver tooth - i just love a silver lining.
Hurry, before the rattlesnake wakes up...and sure, you can fake it if ya have too ya see because along with a brain & a mind i have an imagination & having one of those, well-exercised & in good working condition is more than compensation for the other two - it's a saving grace.

down on the hum bummer railroad where the forest peeks out from between the trees is all that's left, ya know, of the hum bummer railroad - a shell found on the beach that you pick up to place next to your ear to pretend that you can hear the sea inside it ...

the ice cream of America is bigger than our teeth

just came from work - spiders against the glass down there - got my wild on - I probably shouldn't even be here is best 'cause these things take me up with no regard for anything - the piping system can't keep up - everybody knows it.

i got a donut with apple filling covered in cinnamon sugar - benefits to the janitor.

I read the other day where a bobcat cut itself all to hell on razor wire trying to get into a prison - it is currently being treated for the cuts and will be released back into the wild - don't the doc's understand the cat was willing to go the razor wire to get into the prison?

when the pipes back up that will be the end of cities. The Bible speaks to the Wrath of God quite a bit but not one word about sewage - humanity drowning in its own shit ...
sewage - the end of civilization -

a flushing mechanism connected to a pipe was one of the inventions of farming-centric communities - it didn't come from the hunters.

A lot of porn is coming out of eastern europe these days - and archeologists have found evidence of very early & very organized hunting camps there - they found these people using mammoth bones as structural elements over which they stretched mammoth skin to make temporary shelters. I can just imagine walking up to a fully grown female wooly mammoth & looking right into her eye to say: "Gimme shelter, Baby."

Petroglyphs were also found in the vicinity of the camps. Archeologists say the meanings are probably ritualistic and/or ceremonial but given the current production of porn in eastern europe today my money would be on a more down-to-earth interpretation, something along the lines of: " Og Half-Brain sucks fish dick "

That's more like it.

Blame it on the moon, Maggie Magill, or a soft parade or even Alabama which is a Chickasaw-Creek word meaning "Home at Last!"

doom and gloom and a can of beans
old farts are me
I read somewhere that the Aral Sea is filling again, nature bouncing back now that soviet beurocrats have abondoned their five year plans

In the meantime I am watching a movie in colorado when some body with a weak mind snapped and killed twelve people, but not me
proof enough that god still loves me

they say their are no atheists in fox holes, does that mean atheists never go to war?

Happy another
Everyone called him Happy on the CB radio, he was a retired lifer (jimbo hates lifers, reminds me of what Gus Hasford had to say about them in the novel Short Timer") — even so he was the man who broke me out, to long haul gypsy trucking. Happy did not mind being called a liar, but god help the man that called him a lying son of a bitch. Like the foreman at the Sateway wharehouse in Anaheim with a broken jaw from Happy's left fist.

The Vietnam war was not the most influential event that happened in my life time, it has only begun to impact me in my golden years. As I realize how far astray I have wandered from my childhood aspirations.

checked out that cracked link - those guys cracked me up - ships stranded in the sand - there has got to be a poem in there ... i heard about the shooting - some folks never find the proper Scripture, then it's in the dark with the guns & the demons ... the brain or the heart or all three get stuck in yesterday and yesterday is gone...got to be some damn lonely living in yesterday - it drives most folks sideways & down - lizard kings can do anything 'cept outlive themselves or get away from themselves -

"a man should hear a little music" - hell yeah, Mongolia - don't you remember we built this city on rock & roll ? -

Had a good morning eating poetry but I got to cut the grass, I waited too long must be 95 degrees our there by now. If that cat kills that mockingbird going to be hard to deal with.

Oh yeah, must be a poem in it. What hope do we have without poetry?

I wonder what it wanted so bad beyond that fence
was it merely curiosity that drove him.

yes, a person can love another through an image. Or a notion. Or an idea. Or a fantasy. It is as real as any love ever gets.
