some people spin like tops- they do not glide- or mosey- or shuffle-they barely manage a straight path because they have their heads so full of ambition and trying to make waves- that people ignore them- because they talk like a hot wind that brushes up againest your cheeks- that spinning thing makes me crazy- i wish she would just go to bed instead of bossing the dog around and stomping around talking about going to bed- you would think she was my lover - or a husband- or another pirate looking for treasure-
but she is more facinated with spinning than actully noticng what she is doing- she admires the twirl in her skirt- as she whirls by in a dreamy state of confidence- that she will manifest this thing- and i watch in an observant manner while my dog hides under the table and licks my ankles-i do not know who can see and who can not- or who of all the Gods are friendly this night- of spinning people- spun-i want to be the way i was before i became damaged-by love- by stupidity- and by ignorance- thinking that that would not happen to me- no certainly not- i was exempt-i rode a horse under the hollywood sign and i knew that it was all props and glitter = before i rode that horse-the father didnt teach me how to ride- that grandfather held me up- and those sons brought me back so many times with love- i am nearly ashamed of the gifts of love- and the pirates - they seek - but never find what they really wanted- was it the seas?
was it the passions of a young man? was it the passion of an old man- that soothed her soul?
was it the love of children ? what was it? what is this love thing? it does not spin- it has a playful sweetness- intrigue- a beauty- like innocence- childlike and free-
cherry juice and apples-
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

the earth spins and the spinning people are earth people - they are completely in sync with the spinning heart of the planet - they might not be aware of this but it is why they twirl - other folks claim to be earth people but if they do not spin all the time they are not what they think they are - other folks are wind people, stone people, sky people, weather people,
bird people, talk people, truth people, liar people, finite people, infinite people, listening people, ignoring people -

love is an opening up thing - that is how it comes - it is how it acts - it is how it stays & it is how it moves on - love always demands & takes each heart & has it's way as a matter of course - it never loses & never surrenders - no one can summon it and no one can make it go away - it scorns both righteousness & evil, good & bad, knowledge & wisdom and it is the one thing death holds no sway over ...

yes, it can soothe a soul yet at the slightest raise of it's finger can transform that same soul into a wild raging storm & give that storm no place to go

Ahhh ...

true- there are those that humm and those that spin- the vibration and the heart beat are what keeps us moving- i like the people- just please spin on your own axis- the polarity of an autonamous indivdual needs rhythum- and sound- but spinning- can be rather annoying-

'no spiritual trespassing'
i have not forgotten that the lords prayer says yeah we forgive those that trespassed againest us and i have heard that even 'i' have trespassed againest others- now- in the process of turning the stones upside down-polishing my little stories and resentments- i realized-BING- that God has always been much like the laughing buddah with children crawling all over his belly- that image- and the images of things that show most of implicitly = that even if you hear God laughing- you know better- ya just 'get it' BING-and from whatever day forward there has been steady improvement- sure jesus and mohanmand and allah and ya weh and creator all had a hand in this- all the native spirits had a big giant PARTY= because some of us 'got it' and then - our job is to 'help others' whatever that looks like-once it was washing an old indian woman in a trailor park- that day an eagle flew high above me- it wasnt my job- it just happened that someone said 'shell do it' and called me- maybe that is how it is- can you answer your telepatic telephones? and well the sober probers try to 'visit' and 'see how i am doing'
i was on a hill thanking every living thing for being alive-and the real humm of the universe blessed with birth-forget it that there is no more victims- only volunteers-
or should we really talk about the violations that are really going on? should we act like drunks and pretend that people in pennsylvania can light their water on fire because of FRACKING- lets talk about really getting fucked=three years- no water- until they sewed the state0- balls- i would have ran for it- i admit - they stayed there! they said 'this is thier home'?= indecent exposure to chemicals - is killing people- and should i just pretend that this is not violating us spiritually? the earth is crying- now i sound LIKE A FUCKNG HIPPIE RIGHT? well get the fuck over it- that is who i am- native too- ha ha ha ha ha ha

I would guess that living the way you want to has little to do with percentages- that the bigger picture would testify that she had a heart of gold- and that she would have sold her soul for love-

right at this moment my mind is behind me and sounds just like a bird calling his last song of the day to the fast gathering twilight ... I wanted huge chunks of everything along the way and I got some of that & what I didn't get went by the board and no longer matters - whatever our souls are they are part of a moving thing & don't belong to us at all - be that as it may I'm sure it has always been true that there are those who hearts are golden and those who would do anything for love ... 8)

I was inspired to search Greyhound bus trips after watching your am trak video and I stumbled on a series I found interesting to watch today.

O.K., I'm really going to go to bed now, ha. :P
Good night...

Lonely guys- so many guys that just want to " talk" I really just want to listen.... At any rate... If you are wondering about traveling- I think hitch hiking is still the best- back in my day- it was a spiritual experience-

CS - wasn't trying to talk about traveling so much as to evoke and then to illuminate a mood or maybe an attitude about life itself - people wrap themselves around each other naturally - they always have and they always will - I just like to enjoy the folks whose paths cross mine & whose paths I cross - it seems right ya know? Listening is a rare attribute - I do try to work toward the time when I'm listening more that not listening - it's been a bumpy road but I think I've made a mile or two over the years toward that goal - 8) As to hitching I did it a lot more often when young - not so much these days - it was something though, wasn't it? To just stick out a thumb & get on your way. It was like being a whole culture to yourself there by the roadside in want of little except a ride. Seems like less weighty times then than now. Hindsight always tends to be romantic in that way. 8)

ha ha - ok Mz. Peanuts & a Prize - so what ya doin' now - you said something about a lot of camping a bit ago - how is all that goin'? Crazy shit here with all the comings & goings - return a lawmower and get into a big conversation with the guy - if he hadn't had another man coming to tear out a stump in his lawn we'd still be talking - I just kept staring at that stump the whole time - thinking about the tree that was there alive and growing - even with the tree gone I still kept thinking of how that stump could serve a use - as a base for a flowerpot or a piece of outsider art or, hell, just put a big stone on it - I suppose by this time it's all been removed - all above ground traces covered with dirt and grass seed - all good poetry is like that - sooner or later - all the comings & goings - I guess it's what gives this place it's jazz -
