"I like to write.. suddenly."
Yeah, like that. Me too. Best like that. 8) Another all afternoon session target practice yesterday. Had much fun, hell we went from noon 'til we began losing the light. No kayaks this weekend. All guns. Everyone is getting better with practice.
The fun is the thing though. 'Course hitting the targets gets the thrill too. 8)
First cool spell of the autumn up here. Down into the 40's at night. Being out in the air all day leaves ya ready for bed at night. Was under the covers before nine last night and up this morning way ahead of the sun. Feelin' fine. I'm off to fool with the paint prog and drink coffee. Catch ya later when the coffee kicks in.

Aww mingo, thank you from me. I love her sleeping head on the book stack.
This is really nice. I think I'm gonna photograph a bit today. Have you seen my bedroom/battle station before? I might work a pic out of it. We will see.
Are you shooting bottles?

Planning to mow too. It's not what I like to do though.
I'd rather something other. The past two nights I crashed early on the couch. Last night I just started watching a movie on TMC and only caught the beginning.

Bedroom/battle station ? ... such a tall window with all the light behind it -
everything else looks lonesome, darkness in the corners. So this is where you wage war? So, how's that going ?

Yeah, bottles are some of our targets. Plastic bottles, some filled with water. use other things too - boards & clay pigeons & paper targets. Pumpkins to be featured soon.

Had a laid-back day today. My brain still frogging around at the moment. We have a new resident here at the lodge. An iguana I said no to was waiting here for me when I got home Friday from work. I'm told his name is Jeremiah. Real old testament stuff.

I've been overruled. By a woman and a lizard. Only thing I can do now is head out on the web lookin' for a chess game. Following some old advice I was first given in a jungle - "Don't play no cards ain't in your hand." All I can say is whoever my opponents might be, their skills should be sharp, their attack bombproof, their aim true, & their heart fearless for the board and the game belong not to the player but to the warrior. How's that for a combat zen speech ? 8)

Wish me a good war. 'Nite, Doll.

Yep, but I darkened it with the retro on photobucket. I made it have more gloomy corners. Didn't want the unsweetened floor to show too overly much. I keep it in order, I just don't do floors... :P

That's a well loved room. My angelic painting there, almost as tall as my window. I have the bed where it is because of fear of stray street bullets.
Mostly contains my lovelies belongings. The dressers survived a major housefire from my Grandmother's. Only a few burnt edges.

I wanna see the pretty bottles glittering in the sun light.
Can you catch a picture before their shattering show of it?

Well, Ms. "I just don't do floors" Your room is not boring but next to your son's it certainly is less busy. Whew! Does he have any wall space that is not occupied by something? 8)
No can give you the glittering glass bottles, Doll. I don't "do" ( 8 ) glass bottles since it is my neighbor's lad where we shoot and I'd be trying to rake up all the shattered glass after the session. Not that I wouldn't like to target glass bottles because they give ya back some fine drama when they are hit but I couldn't get all the pieces rake back up whe we were done. However we do use clay targets that are painted bright orange and I noticed after our time there on Saturday that the hillside was littered rather artistically with orange remnants all in the underbrush and over the place. I might get a photo of that for ya.
Hey need to ask you if it's ok for me to post your Kite painting up in the Arts here on the site. Let me know. Catch ya later, Doll.

Can you shoot fine china and then pick up the pieces for a mosaic?
That'd be the sweets. Of course you can use my kite.
Just show me where's ya put it cause I'm still slightly loopy and mights never track it where it goes. :P

Gonna put it up in the Arts Center under "Paintings & Drawings", probably post tomorrow sometime. Just home from work, autumn rain all the way.

Mingo, I think it rains a lot. At least here it does.
Better than too much snow, though.

The squealing of brakes out front tells me the garbage men are out on their rounds. Ya know, the world could get by just fine without presidents and congressmen and senators and armies or navies or corporations. But society would suffocate in it's own waste faster than even the swiftest running disease if it were not for it's garbage men, janitors, custodians, and maids.

The strangest things are always true.

Like lies. Lies exist only because the truth does. Without truth lies are impossible.

Some days I need a life, ya think?

I feel about as romantic as a turtle off season.

Wait, are you saying you're naturally a romantic heart?
My tea tag says "Greatness is measured by your gifts, not your professions."
Which must mean you could be a professional gunman, but you'd be nothing great unless you give her the gun. I' think that's sweet.
