Just remembered i forgot to answer your question - the subject was "rights" - specifically about where the "rights" of one rub up against the "rights" of another.
Of course I sided with common sense and, dare i say it?, truth! which made me a troublemaking outcast on all sides of the question involved. I had some fun and nobody else did. Such a bad boy am I.

That glint is spectacular.
You saw him actually move?
Mine is like a rock. I check to see if he's alive every day. I keep wondering why I didn't buy a turtle instead. The plan was to get a red crab. He was the flat kind with huge pincers. They call them soap box crabs. But, the children were afraid to have it around. That's when I bought the iguana. What the heck. I don't know how I went from A to B there.

Hmm, what is truth. :P

Yeah saw him move. I think you might be right 'bout having a turtle. they probably move more in a 24 hour period than these guys. Like I said he's here under my protest. if I were to take a lizard for myself it would have been a gecko. "From A to B there" yeah, no lie, same thing happens to me. Always leaves me amazed.
And truth? That's what's left standing after ya drop all the bullshit in its tracks.

I went out in it too.
Sorry I seem distant sometimes. Been sharing a puter for forever, I thinks that sounds about right. The kiddo, he sits right next to me and watches me, if it's not his turn. Eep! Only get the AMs to have it to myself (without the added help)lol!
I think I'm going nutty.

I like to get out. Don't mind being in the woods at all, 'specially in the autumn, poking around seein' what's goin' on. i like to wander the lakeshore for the same reasons. The forest has many languages and all of them are fascinating.

If I had my choice of totem animals it would not be any of the usual suspects. No bears or eagles or elk or cougar or rattlesnakes. None of these would I choose or have choose me. Your gonna laugh but give a moment to what i say. The two greatest warrior animals I have ever seen anywhere live right here in the woods, in fact in the forests from georgia all the way into canada they call home.
They are absolutely fearless in the face of their own lives. They do not run when winter comes. They are both magnificent and immaculate survivors. They not only live life to the full but leave their lives behind them when they go with the same grace with which they accepted that life when they arrived. I speak of the chipmunk & the chickadee. So you can smile & laugh, I dont mind. I'd be honored to have either one of these little guys as totem of my lodge or to have them include me as one of their own.

I've had chickadees perch on me. And I once was made privy to the sight of a chipmunk who directly fucked over a full grown red tail hawk who had come down to eat him. And he did that by fucking with the hawk's mind. On purpose, for the pure hell of it, Doll. I will never forget that.

Yeah, I have left my footprints out and about. And out & about has left its footprints in me.
Wouldn't have it any other way.

Tom & Becky were "buds" 8)

Tom and Huck (1995)
Becky Thatcher: Oh Tom, it's, it's, what is it?
Tom Sawyer: It's your engagement ring.
Becky Thatcher: It's beautiful.
Tom Sawyer: It sure is. Why when I was engaged to Amy Lawrence she...
Becky Thatcher: What? You mean I'm not the first?
Tom Sawyer: No Becky, that was ages ago. Two months at least.
Becky Thatcher: I hate you. I hate you and I hope you die.
...............

Tom Sawyer (1973)
Becky Thatcher: Oh Tom. So I'm not the first one you've been engaged to. Philanderer!
Tom Sawyer: What?
Becky Thatcher: Well that's what you are.
Tom Sawyer: Yeah but what does it mean?
Becky Thatcher: I'm not sure. But even if I did know I wouldn't tell you.

I've seen a lot of chipmunks lately. I grabbed two photos of them recently, too. But, I don't know if I've seen a chickadee. They both seem like good totem animals. Have any followed you into your dreams?

the chips are super busy this time of year - that's why you are seeing a lot of them. Preparations for winter well underway. They get all urgent & shit like they ain't been stuffing enough food in their burrows all summer.

No dreams of them.

You gonna post here the pics you took?

Thx for commenting on the baby moon poem 8)
