Well, ya know she was particular in love, maybe not so much in what she had to put up with. *cheeky*
I wouldn't prolly of loved Diego, but a woman's heart is mysterious, I s'pose and so I know the reasons why she loved him. Got caught with the cat scratching her up at night. I don't know mingo. I think it's fantastic.

You've got good vision pouring out your fingers, like a finely tuned instrument...keep it up and keep going.

Oh the raspberries are ripe this time of freezy year.

All the bears are mad for em.
Requesting them and the dames are keeping them hidden away in their dresses, they say trying to make attempts, or tempt. I don't know what for, unless it's catfish bait. :P
Sleep well, u.

Yeah, love is fantastic. Someday ya got to tell me about the catfish. I went searching one time over Jack's & yours doings to see if I could find first mention but it weren't to be. I can track a dream but not a catfish. Had a song get in my head tonight at work. Ain't heard it in forty years but I used to know it by heart. It wouldn't go away. I tried losing it in the snow but it followed me home. I think it may be your fault when you mentioned a couple of days ago about wanting to know my secrets.

I'll tell ya a secret - I can't draw. Don't know the first thing 'bout it.

The song is by the Beatles. Early one. Give a listen if ya want.
It's title is "Do You Want to Know a Secret?"

I ain't hiding no razzberries in my skirts. Last thing I need is a hungry bear sniffin' me from the waist down all on account of a rootin' tootin' razzberry.

Oh, mingo the catfish is actual,
not even a figment of my imagination,
like so much of my imagination.

I want to say I've always and often known him, but his effecting goes back prolly five years now. I named him catfish when he introduced me to poetry and Richard Brautigan's catfish poem. I told him that was him! he was my catfish driving all the lonely thoughts from my head.

I pulled him into my closeness and there he's been ever since.
He likes motorcycles, golf, baseball, big breasted women, heels and lip sticks, everything fast and he's my friend here, fiend there.
I think he likes me, too.

My muse and actor, but I'm his actress.
He'll say, "I want..." and I'll make attempts to appease it, gonzo journalism. Star the role.
I'll say, "I want..." and he laughs at me for it.

Jack said once about posing for me...yes, I look at the catfish pose, then draw him best I can in words. I need to be outside of all actualness to see his actual, actually.

That song was great. Thank you, mingo.

Mornin' Annie B - thanks on the catfish outside of all actualness so I could see his actual, actually.
Makes me think about having some catfish toast made in a catfish toaster with real catfish butter and catfish peanut butter all spread on creamy and smooth with a catfish butter knife. It will be yum to the bees! Smunch!

BUT... there's only enough bread left for the lunch I'll take to work later. Can ya see me as Charlie Brown in my kitchen right now with the ballon floating over my head that holds the word RATS ! in capital letters? Yeah, that.

Hey I was delving around in the earth just a bit ago ( Dive Dive Dive! ) & I found some turquoise hidden down there. I took a picture with my imaginal Nikon - Ya know I once said in the presence of three other people Ni-Kon, pronouncing the i as an actual i and got corrected immediately by those three other people who said no no no it's NEE-Kon. Well I didn't give a chickadee's bowel movement about the whole thing. I mean if it's NEE-kon why didn't they use an actual "e" instead of a short "i" ? I just said, "Screw you guys, I'm goin' home.

Anyways I took a picture of the turquoise for you with my imaginal NEE-kon and backed on out of there. And there it is -

I had the great chance happening of crystal cluster digging uping in Hot springs once. I found a vein and dug at it for two hours, I would have kept digging if I'd not worried I was such a strain on my friend's patience level. I left it there in the ground, recovered it too.

I'm picturing you just as so with your turquoise.
I'm a fan. You've brought me a treasure with this picture.
I'll go to sleep on it's coloring.

I wanted to make a lip stick confession. I don't know why, must be first thoughts...

It's not so very much that I'm against lip stick, I know it seems as though.
What it's about is I'm very visionary and especially of what suits me right. I could never match a better shade to my lips. I've tried and meant to, but my natural lip color has always leaps and bounds better than and other coloring.

Plus, I couldn't get used to the texture of lip stick. It's just more right on my skin and less right on my lips. I'd prefer a stain on them, and I'd go for staining, only I just have to get the correct coloring.

It has been an obstacle. Not so easy as women make it seem.

Good night to u and sleep well.
Bread tomorrow, perhaps.
Let's.

Her lips were pressed and pressed and pressed.
My, Oh, My, she was ravished.
I think I'll keep her in my pocket.

Thanks, mingo.
I had a dream of a portrait last night.
I think it had to do with your painting,
but I couldn't see the actual picture, only the back of frame.

What a nice interest though. I like to think I think I saw it done up so beautifully and made to be displayed. That's what I'm thinking.

Just coyoted down eggs & toast. Gooder than better. You take care of the bread & the bread will take care of you = Mornin' Annie B!! Had a dream last night where there was like a small cave in a snow bank in one of my gardens and there was this Nikon peeking out at me just sittin' there in the snow inside this little cave. I think the dream was takin' my picture jus' before I woke up.

I wrote the above this mornin' then one of my sons showed up and hung the rest of the day. I was goin' somewhere with the post but it's gone now.
Did mention to my son a problem I was having with a guy I play chess with how we struggled with a game the other day for over an hour just to come down to a draw. I hate that, especially when the game demands a level of involvement that does nothing but tax you to the nines with every move. For nothing more than a draw. Tell me where that gets fun. So I was bitch moan whine what and we began to go over the opening moves. Now this son of mine is not the greatest fan of the game in the world but he has had exposure to it through me. Long story short he comes up with an interesting second move in the opening and it has merit. It avoids me playing black being hobbled by a bishop I can't ever get developed 'til late in the game and it frees me from having to be under the dictates of white.
Ya know, if my boy was more immersed in the game he might not have suggested the move he showed me. But I was lookin' for a fresh viewpoint and new eyes to see it with and that's what I got. The move ain't got the punch I thought I was lookin' for but I can't find any flaws and it has the value of surprise + it gets a piece in action that is usually sidelined for quite awhile - it will rock the boat for sure. Either I win or I lose the next face-off but for sure there ain't gonna be no damn draw when the smoke settles.

Betcha that was all real interestin', huh? That dream of yours 'bout the portrait that had it's back to you got my nose in the wind. What did you make of it ? I'm getting a bunch of short dreams poignant like that lately too. They are vivid and the action is startling. I've had a trio of these in the last few days. The first two had characters that actually spoke to me, in English no less. The third just had the camera lookin at me from inside it's snow cave - it was the last thing I saw before I woke up and the only thing that made it back with me to the waking world.

Ok, all for now. Catch ya next time.. We got snow here. Stay warm & dry.
'Nite, Annie B

Wrote a little whiles ago.

..........................
Yes, there are dead birds outside
but there are alive ones, too.

Instead of picking bodies for bones,
bring me a blue slipped feather
and say it's from the pretty boy blue-jay
who fluffs in by the high window,
he, I know whistles my song.

I will dress up my porcelain rabbit
with a tall feathered hat
and we are golden.

I couldn't be happier today.
I'm keeping it, ty mingo.

I woke up with worry I was no longer a poet. Words are just not pouring forth and such, I'm really cluttered, but the day has been broad and you're keeping me happy here. Enough so that I'm not even gonna worry about words, I'm fine, you're fine and who even knows about tomorrow.

Thanks for keeping me.

He's grown to multiple personalities, though all contain similarity or simulation of core 'hisness'. I mean I'm staring down a dragon and I'm dragon too, but I'm smaller than him, I'm not nearly as hot breathed or fierce, and though I'm eating everything in sight, it might be as they say..not to gobble down my food.

I don't think ya have to worry 'bout you're poetry. You were a poet yesterday, you're a poet today, and you'll be a poet to the end of the trail.
That's how it works when comes to poetry.

Glad the bluejay clicked with ya. And I'm happy you're happy. I don't know 'bout staring down dragons or eatin' everything in sight but I can imagine it.

Let's finish the trail on this, Annie B. You say, "had company pop in...ex ex and wife (whom I like) and she brought fish..." Not an assault - a visit. . The whole end of the trail here consists entirely of this "wife" & the things she brings to give you & share with you. You both talk to the other as you would in the waking world. You don't describe her presence in any way except in terms of how you relate to & acknowledge it & she is the empty chair at any of your feasts. The relationship you have with her is intimate & alive. She brought two things - gifts of & from the earth, one from the water, one from the ground. Food & Drink. Friends who like fish.
But more - your friend says "I brought us a fish". Not "you" - "us". She likes you too. She has a mug of tea you get curious about. You ask then look into the cup without waiting for an answer. And what do you see in the cup? A root. You named it and it seemed "medicinal or magical to me"
You then decided you should be drinkin' the tea.

So, here we are at the end of the trail where we've found two girls talkin under the realm of the wakin' world. A deeper gossip of everything. Maybe of new houses. Maybe of all forgotten things. Woman to woman. Hangin' out with the girl-talk, your dream and you. Sounds like a good time to me.

don't forget to drink your tea, Annie B.
