When we pull it all together

Metaphysical Landscape, a simple picture of a bare gray landscape under a clouded sky, has been called Orozco's ultimate statement of his philosophy. At the top of the picture a large, black parallelogram interrupts the natural continuity of the sky preventing the observer from imagining what lies on the other side. Its meaning has been given as Orozco's summation of his belief that there is a limit in the universe beyond which man's probing for truth cannot go,,,

Been a long thirty years since I read Baby Driver. I remember she talked about her father as the "old drunk" Breaks my heart to read about the meeting with her father, she fifteen pregnant strung out on heroin? On her way to Mexico with her boyfriend. St Jack tells her to write books, use his name. They say there was a remarkable resembelance between father and daughter especially their eyes. I remember it as a book more about her relationship with her mother more than her father. I don't remember her hissing. I remember her as a child.
I think about her as Iphigenia,
He met this child only twice, once to take a court-ordered blood test to prove she was really his, and once again when she was heading for Mexico and he was drunk in a rocking chair.

The Lesser of Two Equals
Jack wrote all those beautiful books. I am sorry I pried into his life. I wish I knew less about him.

When can we go through the metaphysical doorway?
Can you teach me?

I haven't read it yet (Baby Driver) other than a little taste of it online that you showed me.

I envy him that he had a child, more than I envy his talent. Envy is a sin. Sometimes I wish I could be a Catholic too.

i wish i had more poetry for you.

Trivial biographical details of great writers
all that matters is the work they left us
their legacy

re: the black rectangle in the sky
we all got to walk that lonesome valley
his son said it was a premonition of his death

. “Painting,” Orozco believed, “assails the mind. It persuades the heart.”

I'll not open my mouth.
I'll pout only and walk into the wood.

I will lay me down beneath that sky

I really don't know much about their personal affairs. I am almost afraid to know too much about them. How does it go about idols with feet of clay?
I don;t even know if she is still alive.

It's better not to know at times, for instance using myself as an example if we pretend you and I are this literary set of minx who eat caviar and toast in the sun at Big Sur...
today I look like a raga-muffin. I took a long glance in the mirror, got my bed head hair twisted up in a ballet bun and still it looks like I rolled bed head curls up on top my head. Can't hide it, I'm just a raga-muffin girl. A long vacation and no body wants to know this. :P

I am not that literary a set.

I don't read that much

and what I do read is very slow.

I am literary I suppose, but not much, mostly I read what helps me get on with myself.
See attached file.

In the meantime: I saw a good movie the other day, Defending Your Life, Albert Brooks Meryl Streep
