who decides who 'locks' a piece that is on going on here? i think that may be the thing that gets rid of me-- commenting on others work all the time is stupid- it can influence your juice in a good way and it can be a fucking distraction reading other ppls stuff- i think that i may have to 'duck out' if the rules increase- if my writing is on there- i should have a 'say' if it gets locked

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

The moderators of the artlog forums decide when to lock their own pieces.
The only other pieces on the site which have been locked have been locked by me and later deleted. Those incidents have been EXTREMELY rare. Recently I locked then removed 2 threads where people were complaining about another site. I did it because it's not proper netiquette to use Studio8 to complain about how other sites operate.
Before that? I can't remember the last time I locked a thread during the past 10 years.
Steve Plonk is the moderator of this particular forum, his artlog. He was the one who locked the threads in this forum.
PS ... There is only ONE "rule" on this site and it's been that way since it opened in 2004. That rule is RESPECT. Respect for each other and respect for copyright. We've never had any other rules, the rules are NOT increasing, and the rules will never increase. Where did you get the idea that there were rules here? And also, which threads are you irritated about having been locked? Can you direct me please?

I have had the experience of really being "!on" a writing roll- and mingo locking it-
It felt so rude and painful I barely respond to his writing anymore.
People need to realize that sometimes- this might be the only entrance to my heart
Shut me out?
Really? Without any communication-
It felt like " breaking up" since then I have not been cozy
With anyone on here- i felt too much apparently- maybe none of it was freak-
Real- I guess I will just have to get over it somehow- but really
One for those that are free and do not turn Thier backs on people - slamming doors in your face- it should be said by someone- I would never do that to anyone- hippies- natives- bikers- artists- it is not ok
In my world we welcome people and feed them and love them and listen to them- so I put a "LOCKED " on my heart- now no one can hurt me- give it your best shot- peace
I think that responding in this way
Saying that sometimes it feels cold in there is an understatement -

Try not to take the internet so seriously. Mingo's a great guy! I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt you by locking his thread. In the artlogs, the moderators of their own forum are allowed to end a conversation if they want. That's all! It was nothing personal, I'm sure!
If you want your own artlog, I'd be happy to set it up for you!
