"Everybody's gotta live, before you know the reason why."
Yup.
Now we see darkly...very darkly
let there be light. And a succumbing to the pleasant end of the story.
If it be pleasant.
Oh the worldly wiling.

I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

Kentucky Head Hunters Wlk Softly on My Heart
baby sister playing it today, I knew she was thinking about her son.
So I been into anything Kentucky Headhunter today
I liked this one a lot too
called Honky Tonk Walkin
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teih2f7N ... re=channel
Nothing dour there. Kind of blue grass, rock and roll or country. Sounds like music to my tin ear.

I love Townes always and forever. This song is way overproduced, way to busy instrumentally, and I know Townes would agree.

great point. even his producer admitted he made poor production choices. all this song really needed was townes and his guitar.

christ! hadn't heard that version. sounds like a scott walker or maybe even spector production!
the version I have on CD is great!
this version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNM4OwJX1H0 (embedding is disabled).
I'm not sure that the one verse each thing works but the guitar is really nice and townes sounds incredible.
how you keepin' these days, 'truckin?

same ol', same ol', truckin'.
working to get money to pay the rent. drinking beer and whisky. the occasional codeine buzz. taking photos wondering if being alone is the path that's been cut for me. it's okay most of the time.
a few laughs and a few smiles, truckin'. At this rate I'll like to 100. Won't that be a buzz kill!

"How are the tunes coming?" I used be amazed at the amount of paranoia that question would evoke from songwriters in Guitar City U s of a's
So much rippin offf going on, RE: "Let's Steal Each Other's Songs" by Willie Waylon and the Boyz.
I been doing okay, I been over employed in fact. I get my check from FDR every month. But any day now I except an I.O.U. from Uncle Sam. but what the hell it sayz in god we truest on the money, so i got no fears!
I read an interesting article the other day which brought up the subject "the end of money" funny the article was about phosphate fertilizer.
I sometimes forget you live in Scotland. You don't how much I envy your Island.
Oh Well, I can take pride in being from the most powerful superpower on earth. It amazes me how few Americans ever wonder why the people in the post European colonies trust the USA so little.
It ain't easy being green, I got two other jobs, I am over-employed got damit. I actually had a thousand dollars in the bank about a month ago...
SO i am doing okay. I feel like I got a purpiss in life after all these years.
