Here's a tune written by Michael. He's playing guitar.
He asked me to sing it and I did...
(well, I tried anyway... I was honored to be asked!)
I love this tune!
It's called >> I Can't Be Owned <<
You can click to listen, if you'd like.

Thank you for letting me sing with you, Michael!
This is a work in progress. Michael will be adding more instruments, I think. But... I sang.... he played the guitar ..... and we are 3000? miles away from each other? How far is it from the east coast to the west coast? The miracle of the internet. I don't remember so if I'm way off, well, forgive me because the deal is, I can't be owned by such nonsense.... I can't be owned by anything... except love... Love owns me like a slave.... but I can't be owned.
I Can’t Be Owned
I know you told me
that you love me and
you want to hold me.
Well, that’s fine but
don’t try to control me.
Can’t you see that I’m free?
Won’t you see that I can’t be owned?
You say you’d give me
anything if I’d
just say I’d marry.
That can’t be because
I have to live free.
Tell me how you want it now,
please don’t wait ‘cause I can’t be owned.
You go on your way,
let me be ‘cause I’m
living for each day.
Well I guess you
could say this is my way.
I’ll be here by myself
‘cause I know that I can’t be owned.

Thanks for posting. Great song. My sentiments too. I just want to dance with her.
I have listened to this one a lot
Where Am I
His voice conveyed such sorrow. On one level it reminded me of those fifties slow dance songs that I could never learn how to do. Made me want to grab Ester Greenwood into my arms and waltz across Texas

I wonder why he took that song off studio eight.
I did not realize Michael had a website. Going to check it out.
