"Everybody's gotta live, before you know the reason why."

Yup.

Now we see darkly...very darkly

let there be light. And a succumbing to the pleasant end of the story.

If it be pleasant.

Oh the worldly wiling.

Nothing dour there. Kind of blue grass, rock and roll or country. Sounds like music to my tin ear.

I love Townes always and forever. This song is way overproduced, way to busy instrumentally, and I know Townes would agree.

great point. even his producer admitted he made poor production choices. all this song really needed was townes and his guitar.

I'm not sure that the one verse each thing works but the guitar is really nice and townes sounds incredible.

same ol', same ol', truckin'.

working to get money to pay the rent. drinking beer and whisky. the occasional codeine buzz. taking photos wondering if being alone is the path that's been cut for me. it's okay most of the time.

a few laughs and a few smiles, truckin'. At this rate I'll like to 100. Won't that be a buzz kill!

"How are the tunes coming?" I used be amazed at the amount of paranoia that question would evoke from songwriters in Guitar City U s of a's

I sometimes forget you live in Scotland. You don't how much I envy your Island.
Oh Well, I can take pride in being from the most powerful superpower on earth. It amazes me how few Americans ever wonder why the people in the post European colonies trust the USA so little.
