Okay, I'm going into a crazy excited music rant right now: A month ago I got to see both The White Stripes and Regina Spektor live, and I got to meet Regina. Anyway, since the Regina songs on your playlist are from Begin To Hope, I just have to strongly reccomend Soviet Kitsch if you don't already have it. Also, Gone For Good is probably my favourite Shins song. Ok, I'm done.

Against Me! - Baby, I'm An Anarchist
Alkaline Trio - Mr. Chainsaw
Beirut - Postcards from Italy
The Hush Sound - Wine Red
The Mighty Narwhale - Night Lights
The Mountain Goats - No Children
Notrious B.I.G. - Juicy
Peter, Bjorn, and John - Young Folks
Regina Spektor- Poor Little Rich Boy
Rilo Kiley - More Adventurous
Smashing Pumpkins - Mayonaise
Taking Back Sunday - Slowdance On The Inside
The White Stripes - Blue Orchid

That and a whole lot of Bob Dylan (I just got back from seeing him live) and the entirety of I'm From Barcelona's Let Me Introduce My Friends album.

gone for good. that's on chutes too narrow. i played that record to death when i got it. i still listen to it semi-constantly in the car, where a lot of my music lives. i was surprised to learn that the chords are very simple. it's a lovely song to sit and strum. sometimes i sing it in my shit voice if i'm certain no one can hear.

and bob dylan. got to have dylan. "she's a hypnotist collector, you are her walking antique..." forget about it.
