the drummer was just a kid, 17 i think! what a trip this must have been for him.

oh, this is santanta playing at woodstock. that was some superb drumming! westie, you win bonus points for even having a favourite drum solo. one of the best things in the world is listening to a great jazz drum solo. i try to argue this point with a pianist friend i work with.

"but the piano is a percussion instrument too..." I say. :lol:

a-one... the ending, the crowd's "joey! joey! joey!"... very much so! quite a piece of drumming, and quite 'drum-atic'..!
