Was it a couple days later or the next day he died. I remember the look on his face, his body language. As if he took responsibility for listening to the forman. As if he was saying I won't do that again. Coincidence his death had nothing to do with the driver's.

Thinking the rusty porsche that sat in a yard in Baltimore so long the weeds were growing up through the holes were the body had rusted away. The driver found dead by his mother the next day after he struck a little girl and killed her with the porsche. No sign of suicide, just sitting in living room chair dead. Twenty seven years old. Healthy. His death a coincidence too.

I wish I could focus on Hutch's expression that day under the big hammer.
Escapes me now. Resignation? Or Acceptence?
