funny! It seems it was a municipal project but I knew about it some days ago thanks to a student who´s father works in the monumental cinemas and gave to me the dvd asking me to see it and let the other class kids see it too. Enjoy!

well, it wasn´t fundada by the spaniards, it is said that it grew up from a a posta to a little villa during the XVII century and was declared "city" in 1852. So, not too old!
