(originally posted under the cinema board, but since no one seems to have notice-d it, i will repost under this board, a cross-listing, as it were, appropriate to subjects)

in the middle of a live album of Velvet Underground, recordead at Max's kansas City in New York, many decades ago, is a commentary by somebody? in audience, discussing the film Patton. (a note to self: strange that this is playin in background now, did the memory of the beginning of tune trigger the recolection unconsciously, or is it coincidence?) man says, 'i just saw Patton the movie today about the american general.' chick says, 'i saw it with my family; my father says he was greatest general/best movie he ever saw.' dude replies, "so did nixon, right before he decided to bomb cambodia."

maybe i should post this under linking the arts?
