This is one of my favourite poems by a jazz great Archie Shepp...He is the grandson of Rosa Parks who was the woman who refused to sit at the back of the bus and started a revolution...this poem is a dedication to her...

love Archie Shepp. He came to Tel Aviv a few years ago and we zoomed up to the big city to catch him. Wow. What a joy to see the great man in his brown suit - a bundle of energy in person after so many years of listening to his work.
