Everything was painted black for me in May of 1967 when this song came out, but I was in my twenties not a teen. It is a cathartic for sure. I had a friend in college who listened to that song a lot, it worked for him too. Also Street Fighting Man
On a perosnal note The stones song I listened to the most is Factory Girl, in my loneliest of lonelys headed down the road again I would play that song over and over.
Another song by the stones I have listened four thousand and twenty seven times is
The Girl With THe Far Away Eyes, it never fails to cheer me up
when I am "down on my luck and I can't harmonize"
thanks for the music steve
Please pardon the irreverance
I think it is a great song, and I think Jesus would like it too.
Aww, I love this tune and thank you, Steve for bringing it back today. A good day for it.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!

Sad Luck Dame, glad you liked the sentiment. Thanks for the additional videos as I am also grateful, belatedly, to Still Trucking for his additions. The Rolling
Stones still resonate after all these years...
