Another, from Horace Andy. The first (vocal) part is cool, but then the
dub is really rockin' that bass groove... (starts at 4:24)

I like this piece... like a "Dub Dirge" that would be played at Mr Spocks funeral.. solemn but yet 'groovy'.
The addition of the background, the 'electronica' was a bit head of it's time going back to the 70's. Smooth jazzy piece.
Augustus Pablo - 555 Dub Street... slowin' things down to dig the sound, Jamaica style. Cool!
"Away with the bad" is a good thing to be embraced... the light touches of electronics is 'just right' - not too much and not too little.
I rarely go to the music area here but saw your name and gave it a try... not disappointed! good selection.
going to our other posts...

interesting combination of sounds... from the cowbell, the background mix with the horns and the organ spun together... cool.

Thanks for checkin' in, Cec. I've always dug the '70s DUB reggae vibe-- the spatial qualities of it, the fading echo... Glad you diggin' it too!

A lesser known Johnny Clarke dub that I always liked..

Yes, God is a "he" in the opening lyrical snippet-- a little
too ol' skool, I guess. But if I'm into hearing a
creation story, this is the kind I wanna be into..

Flag Dub - King Tubby. Pretty sure it's Robbie Shakespeare on bass. He (and Sly Dunbar) are coming to my neck of the woods for a gig in June. I should probably go ...
