My musician friend

My musician friend, Lightning Rod, cannot hear the cricket that is chirping so loud, it wakes me up at night!

I hope he doesn't end up like the piano tuner we called recently who arrived with a hearing aid.

My guess is that he hears the beautiful sound of that cricket in his sleep and it lulls him yet further into the comfort of deep sleep... I know it would me. (emoticon smile)

no, it's just the same cricket that keeps me awake but it was in the middle of the day today and it was chirping so loud

and i said, 'let's go find it and get rid of it'

and he said, 'get rid of what?'

and i said, 'that darn cricket.'

and he said, 'what cricket?',

and i said, 'that one! the one that's chirping. can't you hear it?'

and he said, 'no. i don't hear a cricket'.

he says he's got a blind spot in his hearing

maybe that's why when i sing he tells me it sounds beautiful

he can't hear it
