Music and spoken word...hmmmmmmm..

I think about this mixture often. Whenever I go to a spoken word event, ( which I still prefer to call a poetry reading ), There is always some performance(s), that have musical acompaniment, and I can't help thinking it is no longer poetry but has entered the realm of song....hmmmmmmmmm...
