I love the benefit concerts of back then...mind you this one was for the benefit of Joe Cocker ...allowing him to continue working in the U.S....but none the less the sense of music for healing that was presented in concerts like the concert for Bangladesh...not the same as the mega events for charity like Live Aid....One could argue that the small events of the seventies saw the money that was suppose to go to the charity ended up in the hands of governments...taxes and all....yet they still contained an element of human charity that does'nt come across in the larger events that are held now....
