Ia was fading. Her grasp on reality was slipping almost as quickly as her physical form. She stumbled through Dor Wood, cursing her brothers with every step. No food for days, her powers dwindling rapidly, the last free sister and keeper of the Light. Bian had nearly captured her. Ia cursed him most of all. Her twin, the Darkness that balanced her Light. Bian who had been hunting her for so many annuals, haunting every movement. He was close, she could hear him. Ia fell to her knees, screamed out in the night, shred her clothes and let the fade claim her form once again.
