Dear Jan

Post by the mingo » December 22nd, 2012, 3:07 am

Dear Jan

I bet it's more crazy here than wherever you are. I tried to stop breathing the other day but it was a dismal fail. Life don't like to give up - somewhere up ahead it will just drop me off, maybe you will be waiting for me there.

Snow and ice on the roads tonight - took it easy coming home from work. Winter is raising its head out of the grass that is dead above its roots. Grass that stood tall & thick into the wind at the end of June.

Time was ain't now, child.

Wherever you are I pray you are not cold.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I'm not cold right now, even though I fear it,
right now I'm warm and fretting that you might be cold.
Don't try to hold your life away,
breathe, breathe.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!
