the things that the cat has told me= while wearing the coat in the cold-smoking- the light begining to hit the sky- it is dark out.the cat looks at me with that look of 'i am not really cold= just pet me'
so i do- and those beautiful eyes look at me with that melted sweetness-the other dogs look at me with a 'soon she will notice '
the things that seemed real important, were not, apparently.the things people built their lives around seemed to elude them on more important ocassions. the cat looked at me with a look of casual indifference- 'it looks pretty funny from where i sit-' cat said.
the woman that she rented from had led a very linear life- she was a cop- a justice department retiree and had guns and fear and ideas about the world ending as we knew it.her spiritual ideas might alarm some.
her cop days were long over-and she was sweet-really- but she did everything in a very orderly manner- the cats and dogs wondered if she had any fun.
how a person like me ended up living with a retired cop- i never would have believed it= i just thought that well-, when things went on down the road, that we would all be planting lettace in a row together-living in peace and harmony- this woman has given me a 'different look' at human behavior-i have watched her- stop eating white sugar- and she has gone from a 22 to an 16 in a few months- it has been interesting to say the least- to watch the human emerge from the blob-of fast food.changing things requires reevaluation- and writing about the stuff that you are tearing away from the mass-the sculpture emerges.

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

the hours of sunlight here are so short- it is a writers paradise i am told- talking to green tall trees year round- 50 miles from anywhere- nothing new there- but the adventures out into the world are becoming increasingly strange-see laundromatt
