drinking coffee with the idea that i will re-awaken to an energetic perception- overly socialised, lunched out- talked out- i think, short of live music- nothing will get me out of the comfort zone-i fight the sleep- i get needles poked in me- and my john dere grasshog is in gear- all the broken pieces fly back together and hoover a bit before deciding if they want to return-the humming- vibration- the over senstivity to smell - i wonder why people want me in the mist- when i cannot wait to steal away- and blast my car radio and dance in the afternoon sunset- out here where the buses do not run-
the boat landing keeps calling me = but the heat of the sand and 102 in the summer were her idea about warm. wet and warm-

the coyotes were loud and clear in the west- three old friend s had been doing much of the same for many years= were suddenly irritiated by the dessert heat= wanting water- they threw the beer they had in the lake and talked of seeing something different- each a different story but of similar vague mystery-no real clues to speak of- just a brillant light and a humming sound-
they looked a bit like someone put thier finger in a light socket-
the mundane and the profound in an ever outstretched battle -transformed by the simple blasts of electricity
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

i used to complain about numbers
but it got me no where

have to admit this one
a little less ordinary
or mundane

too sincerely topical and adverse
to admit to why i actually enjoyed
the pleasure of its reading

wishing my numbers were higher-
yet i can drive-
and walk- so its all good- my friend- she isnt that lucky the luck of the draw-
maybe now she will win the lottery
was born under a lucky star=wish i wonder who you are
pleasure is subtle
