Ambulance Blues

Post by Artguy » December 15th, 2010, 12:49 pm

Listening to Neil Young and remembering...old hippie Toronto Yorkville truckin from dad's office...Joni waitin on tables at the Riverboat....they tore down old Vic hippie homes on Gerrard and put up a parking lot...It's still there...yellow taxi...T-O cop cars with a cherry on top...down to Cherry Beach for an attitude adjustment...Then Neil in ol hearse lookin for Buffalo Springfield headed for Californy ...I followed years later thumb to the road...move over St. Jack it's my turn now and my feet ache.....crossing the border into Montana big sky...Neil was singing Sugar Mountain and life was sweet...open and free...

Ya Dadio, the song Ambulance Blues always takes me back to a different time in a place I call home.

This recalls a different time and place...memories of youth and happiness and simplicity...I like this...
The road to happiness: Perseverance, Endurance and a whole lot of Hope.
