Dear Jan,
Remember the time we went to the fireworks? We sat there on the shore and right in the middle of a running burst you said, "I like this" ? The waves coming in had their own song which grew on me but I said nothing about it to you.
I had a hard time getting my stuff working this morning. I've got it smoothed out now, more or less. It was difficult to throw some of it away because they were still firing but not working the way they should. You get up against yourself on that kind of thing but you finally have to decide what you are willing to put up with & what you're not. Question of quality versus time really, and I have lots of stuff now and no reason to not have a good experience. I've other stuff that serves no purpose other than it's here. Things you pick up along the way because it appeals to you somehow. Then there are the days you look around at it all gathering dust & you go, "Good God, it's time to get rid of all this! - but you don't. You might even add to it the next time you see something that appeals to you & you don't know why. Just got to have it is all. The nature of self proves out in every case.
Sentiment.
So, the sun is shining & another July is but two days from passing into history. Going to take the hound over into the woods. He likes pissing on the trees. I might even do that myself. Truth is I do it because it fucks with his head. I know, someday I must grow up.
But not today.

Thank you, mingo.
It was beautiful to read to me.
