i cooked a salmon
rearranged the furniture
cleaned and ate pie
did dishes and spoke of things
they wanted to talk about
catering means listening
made brisket and small potatoes
people came and went
the square peg tried to be in a round hole
my dog didnt like the same woman
that i think has some broken energies
floundering like a fish out of water
she smiles and tries to be kind
but there is something underneathe
that professional body language
sabotaging her and wrecking her
inside of her road
favored by the sunshine
the people went outside and basked
in the light
full bellied and white
from their office jobs
happy for a moment to not be
where they would be on monday morning
food is healing to some
