Dear Jan,

- it's an election year - o the joy! I'm glad you don't have to see this circus. I wish I didn't.
You never said but I think you probably never voted.

I agree.

One of the current candidates for president is an exo-cannibalist. The other is a consensual nihilist. They both are consumed with hunger for mirages involving themselves & an audience and the more faceless that audience the better. It's just damn the Republic for the both of them - they just want to be President. If we ain't careful we'll all end up wearing one or the other of them as one of a pair of missing socks. The usual.

Sometimes I still think of moving to Canada. They vote up there too but they aren't crazy with it, ya know?

They don't even have countries or nations or any of the rest of that kind of nonsense where you are.

You and I never spoke of love. We never had to. I rue the loss of that with our current state of separation. There is no such thing as "good times" - only good moments. Only now do we know the truth of that. All too well.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

nice
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
