In the truck
With my Frenz on the road to the hot springs ... One of my sisters is singing every song she ever knew- and my other sister is at the wheel- she is the calm one- the road has so much beauty and I am trying to hold it- capture it- the sweetness of the swans in the sunlight- the trees and mossy trunks- closely seated- for a moment outside Starbucks- I smoked and closed my eyes - listening to the trains and trucks- the ships along the Columbia river- the world- all mixed with this feeling of having emerged from a place less certain- than this beautiful - thankful- that those things of the past are over- that the sun is shining- that I can trust my feet once again- to walk the way I have been taught on this red road- each prayer touched the sky filled with dreams on the verge of coming true- it is no secret... Love is real- here have some.... I want to share it with you.. For - a time! Somewhere a bell is chiming and all kinds of kindness is gathering strength once more- to prove beyond reasonable doubt - that love can change your mind- if you let it- so on this birthday- I thank all the spirits for my life- for letting me experience everything- just the way I have... The truck is filled with all of our voices- smells- defects and assets- smiles and experiences- 15 years later- we are all going to the hot springs- what a fabulous idea- soaking in the love!
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
