day to think about

Post by creativesoul » January 20th, 2013, 12:30 am

...... always better than the alternative-the earth is crystalized and frozen here- i can revel in the sunlight coming thru the windows and the absence of chaos- in another time, when my body was younger and my mind vulnerable-- perspectives mutable- then all those beatnik end of the world conversations mixed with the politics and perspectives of so many intriguing people- and i am working here- in that place that seems rather far away from 'civilization' which if that is civilized- 'i gotta go'
so -out here where the river meets the swamp-and it is so cold - i am amazed by those swans- the gracefulness
before sleeping last night i imagined a woman lying in the sand -with the ocean over her- and she.... i was painting-her-it was all so euphoric- it makes me not want to wake up- forcing myself to see beauty- not ugly- like some kind of scrabble letter that follows you for weeks around the apartment- and what a great game that was-and set the letter on the counter - to put away later- and once again the cycle begins- the daydream about that day- the words spelled-- laughter...
was i thinking anything was different than i had imagined last month? no- but thinking about creativity and doing it are not quite the same- kind of like aging- creeps up on you-seizing your forces to grab onto something real
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

while laying awake the other night - i thought about a time that seems somehow magical to me- because it was so long ago- and i have forgotten the things that drove me crazy about them by now-the words and descriptions of the darker places i have been elude me- and sometimes it would seem as if those very same times tell the story again- a happier time we all imagine- not ever realizing that maybe this is the time-that we will all never forget-
